Wigbert Kraus, Head of the Regional Service Center of the Chamber of Commerce, would have liked to hand over the CCI certificate of honor back in May. The congratulations on the five-year existence of the company have now been made up for at WOMAtec Maschinenbau GmbH, taking the necessary precautionary measures. Owner and managing director Daniel Köhler accepted the certificate and gave the CCI representative an insight into his company. Since 2017, WOMAtec has been based in the "Ober der Brück" industrial park in Langenfeld, together with the used machine trade WOMA, which was also founded by Köhler in 2008. Machines for the woodworking and brush industry are developed and built here, and CNC retrofits are carried out. 22 employees currently work on around 1,000 square meters. In an interview with Kraus, Daniel Köhler was confident of being able to further expand the location despite the Corona crisis. Since his customers are active in the hygiene and medical sectors with their brush production, he feels an increased demand for corresponding manufacturing and automation solutions.
